I’m Holly, the artist behind HW Fine Arts.
I’m based in the Buffalo area, and my work tends to follow whatever catches my attention and refuses to let go. That might be an old Buffalo landmark, an animal with a ridiculous amount of personality, a familiar place, or something a little strange and unexpected.
I work in a mix of original paintings, limited-edition prints, and smaller pieces that make art a little easier to bring home. I’m especially drawn to character, nostalgia, texture, and the small details that make a subject feel like more than just a pretty picture.
HW Fine Arts started in 2021 and eventually became the thing I wanted to give my full attention to. I now work as a full-time artist, selling my work at art festivals and markets throughout Western New York and online.
I don’t really believe art has to match the couch or come with a complicated explanation. I just want to make work that makes you stop, look a little longer, and maybe feel something you weren’t expecting.
