I have the distinct pleasure of knowing this handsome, lovable Great Dane, Gus. I painted him as a gift for my brother. Gus is a true gentle giant, painting him was a challenge at times, mostly because I wanted it to be PERFECT – this is my nephew after all! I think I came pretty close, and seeing the emotion on my brother’s face when he saw it for the first time, reassured me I did.
To know Gus is to love Gus and every time I see this, it makes me smile.
I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present, one of the most thoughtful gifts I ever received.
